a socktoberfest update - time to look after my projects:the broadripple-socks (down left) warm now the feet of a dear friend of mine in munich (and she was so happy about her first pair of handknitted socks) and whitby (no picture yet but the abbey of whitby in yorkshire is shown top left) is almost finished. only a few rows left to knit and my 1st pair of real socktoberfest-socks 2006 will be finished - yeah!!!
on the right side you can also two pairs of my handknitted socks: the white ones with the stripes are 4 years old and as you can see they are still gladly worn =)
the other pair is the first one ever i knitted for myself - 9 months ago.....
