erwischt---

von claudia - und da ich mich in einigen ihrer antworten schon wiedererkannt habe, gibt es hier nun meine eigenen überlegeungen aus dem bereich:

erzähle uns 7 dinge über dich, die wir schon immer wissen wollten


1. ich kenne mich ziemlich gut mit literatur und büchern aus, bin aber bei musik total überfordert, wie z.b. die richtige musik für eine stimmung auszuwählen ( - bei büchern kein problem...)

2. wenn ich aber einen song mag, höre ich ihn am liebsten ununterbrochen tagelang bis er mir dann über ist.

3. eigentlich würde ich gerne ein neue fremdsprache lernen, denke mir aber immer wieder, dass es sinnvoller wäre, meine vorhandenen kenntnisse zu vertiefen.

4. ich möchte auf alle fälle nach island und nach japan reisen.

5. ich bin gelernte buchbinderin (handwerk) und buchwissenschaftlerin/m.a. (was vielleicht punkt 1 erklärt).

6. ich hätte gerne mal ein jahr bezahlten urlaub.

7.und dann würde ich auch spinnen lernen.

hogwarts sock kit swap - the bag & everything

lena made such a charming kit for me and everything was so thoughtful:
the bag is perfectly seized for knitting projects and i love the colors turquoise & brown.
for my hogwart socks i got a magic skein sockyarn with bamboo hand-dyed from our friend andrea in brown, gold and ocher (like the lion of gryffindor) and also a pattern for knitting socks toe-up.

for this project i will really need my new knitting wands from mr. ollivander himself: two sets of takumi bamboo dpns in 2,25 as well as my yellow chibi with new tapestry needles.
and look here for the enchanting details:
nevilles toad, the box from mr. ollivander and the great stitchmarkers in gryffindor colors!
lena made also a small bag with a zipper to store the yarn and for my entertaining while knitting and waiting for HP 07 she included a box of bertie bott’s every flavor beans as well as 2 DVD´s (the sorcerer stone and the chamber of secrets).

it was so funny that you´ve been my pal and eyerything is so amazing and gorgeous. thank you so much, lena!

wäldchestag

claudia hat gestern ihr ashford joy eingeweiht und lud zum wäldchestag ein. lena, sabi, ulrike, steffi und ich nutzten die gelegenheit vorbeizuschauen, das wohnzimmer zu besetzen, zu stricken, bücher mit anleitungen zu wälzen und feinen tee, kuchen und toast hawaii zu speisen. all das paßte prächtig zu diesem verregneten tag und ich habe die gelegenheit genutzt und meine monkeys fertiggestrickt und mit den neuen chibi-nadeln die fäden vernäht. claudia hat mir dann noch netterweise die sockenbretter geliehen für den ersten eindruck (leider etwas unscharf).
ich habe mich ganz brav an die anleitung gehalten und lediglich die fersenwand mit überzogenen rechten maschen gestrickt ( statt glatt rechts), weil es mir mit der musterung der wolle einfach gut gefallen hat. insgesamt ein wirklich schönes muster, leicht zu merken und auch für musternde wolle schön.

hogwarts sock kit swap - the bag

yesterday at the meet to knit lena surprised me with my hogwarts-sock-kit. as luck would have she was my secret pal. because i´m a little bit in hurry today i can only give you a first view of the bag. next week when i will be back from my weekend-trip to munich i will show you everything:
magical yarn, new wands to conjure new socks, fantastic stitch markers, bertie bott’s every flavor beans.....and more....

ein paar neue atypische verführungen sind eingewandert. die aktuelle burda - obwohl ich ja gar keine näherin bin - und das sommerheft der marie claire idées. letzteres ist einfach schön zum schmökern und schauen, während erstere immerhin ein paar alibi-strickanleitungen bietet sowie schöne, schöne kleiderschnitte.
aber vielleicht lerne ich es noch das nähen - am wochenende werden erst mal ein paar taschen fabriziert, dann kann man weitersehen.
